Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 18, 2026
Neon Ink LLC (“Neon Ink,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates FixYourFinances.app (the “Site” or “ Service”).
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit the Site, search the coach directory, submit a lead or contact request to a coach, use coach account or admin features, or otherwise interact with the Service. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Lead and contact forms. When you contact a coach through the Site, we collect the information you enter (such as first and last name, contact information—typically email or phone—and optional message). This is used to route your request to the coach or our operations workflow so the inquiry can be handled.
- Coach accounts and profiles. If you register or claim a listing, we collect account and profile details you submit (such as name, photo, location, phone, website, bio, certifications, testimonials, and subscription or billing-related data as applicable).
- Support and trust & safety. If you submit a support request, claim ticket, or similar communication, we collect your email address, the content of your message, and related identifiers needed to process the request.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Server and application logs. Our servers and infrastructure may log information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, referring URL, timestamps, pages viewed, and diagnostic data when errors occur. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Search and usage data. When you use search or directory features, we process queries and parameters you provide (such as zip code, map coordinates, radius, and keywords) to return results.
- Sessions. Depending on configuration, we may use server-side sessions (for example, filesystem-backed session storage with our hosting stack) to maintain signed-in state and related security tokens.
2.3 Information From Coaches (Public Directory)
Coach directory records may include professional and contact information that appears publicly on the Site (such as name, service area, phone, and links). That information is visible to visitors and search engines according to how the profile is published.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Site (including search, maps, profiles, and lead routing);
- Process coach subscriptions or account upgrades and communicate about plans and features;
- Deliver or facilitate delivery of contact and lead notifications (including via email providers);
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;
- Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect our rights and those of users;
- Analyze usage in aggregate or de-identified form to understand product performance.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration as commonly understood in U.S. state privacy laws. We may use and share information as described in this Policy and where we have a legitimate business purpose or legal basis.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the data type (for example, account and billing records, security logs, or support tickets). Public directory content may remain visible until updated or removed according to coach settings and our policies.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you; to opt out of certain processing; or to appeal a decision. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and limits on certain sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable.
How to exercise rights. Submit a request using the contact information in this Policy. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may designate an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Marketing. If we send promotional email, you can opt out using the unsubscribe link in those messages where available. Transactional and service-related messages may continue.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. International Users
Neon Ink is organized and based in the State of Florida, United States. If you access the Service from other regions, your information may be processed in Florida, elsewhere in the United States, or in other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we will provide appropriate safeguards or obtain your consent as applicable law requires.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy where permitted by law.
12. Contact
